David Katz, director of entertainment and events for Oneida Nation Enterprises, says forthcoming calendars will include a mix of music, comedy, variety performances, and more. “Anything that brings people together,” Katz noted recently. “That’s what we’re looking to book.” At PPC, the lineup through the end of June is heavy on the music. Two mainstays: local cover band Gridley Paige, and our regular Flashback Fridays retro DJ. Gridley Paige, a.k.a. GP, is a fan-favorite and regular performer at Turning Stone venues. This month at PPC the crew will perform as GP Naked—a stripped-down version of the regular five-man outfit with two members playing acoustic and piano-driven songs. (ICYW, the men will not actually be naked.) As for Flashback Fridays, guests can rock out to the greatest hits from the 1970s, ‘80s, ‘90s, and 2000s at The Fireside Lounge & Patio from 7-11 p.m. Our Friday DJ knows exactly which songs to play to get people out of their seats and onto the dance floor. After months upon months of wearing masks and staying six feet from each other, we expect to see a full-on dance party.
